I'm tearing out my layout after 8.5 years

I started tearing it out on Saturday morning. I have almost 2/3rds torn out.

I am saving my Ross switches and some of the straights and throwing out the bent gargraves flextrack. C-clamps, switch machines and track pins are also being saved as well as bridges and trees.

It is a little emotional, a lot of work, and very messy. I have ballast, broken plaster and ground foam all over the garage floor.

I am saving the pond area for posterity.

The bright side is that in about 3 months my new house will be done with about the same amount of space in an air conditioned room and a chance for a fresh start.
