Forgive me for asking but is the power plug plugged into the wall and
into the back of the computer? Just had to ask. Otherwise I would try
unplugging it for 5 min or so and then plugging it back in. It sounds
like the power supply is going bad on you. It is possible that there is
a loose plug in the computer but the power supply is the more likely
culprit. If it is under warranty I would definatly call Dell.
