Re: The Gathering
Myself, Ira and Jim ran at the Gathering in the morning. The layout was
left up so Scott could use it with the scouts that evening. Scott handled
tear down and now has it stored at his house. Several of us set it up the
night b/4 but I don't remember who.
I believe they gave us $50. It's probably enough of a worth wild event to
do for nothing (I'm not saying we turn down the money). It basically will
require a setup the night before, at least two people to attend and
operate...one will probably need to speak. Tear down would not be
appropriate until their event is over. As I recall, it was over well b/4
noon. The 4x8 needs a pickup or suburban type vehicle to transport it.
Like Ira, this is way to far in advance for me to make a firm commitment.
If we can get four members to volunteer to attend during the morning, we
would have enough in case someone had to drop out. I'm sure there are
plenty of us available to setup and tear down in the evenings.
