Austin Train Show

I hope everyone had a good time at the show. I think there were quite a
few people there both days.

Two things that happened that I would like everyone to know about.

John Ratliff and son joined our club. Please welcome them. they made it
back to the show late Sun. and were able to run their train for an hour
or so, so you may have met them. 512-773-1033,
ratliffcc@netscape.net PoBox 340688 Austin, 78734. Please add him to
the reflector and member lists.

Jim Winn offered his building in Kyle to us as a location to set up our
layout on a semi permanent basis. He will be gone this summer and does
not have anything in it. It is a 42' by 60' building in Kyle on I35. it
does not have air conditioning or plumbing. It has a tall ceiling. Let
me know if you think the club should be interested in this location. I
told him (as well as Craig Cherry at the Railyard) that we would not set
up the layout again until at least after the SAM RA show in 4 weeks.
