RE: voting

Scott,

I have no serious basis for choosing between the candidates, but my age is not allowing me to shirk my responsibility.  So with apologies to all, I vote for Rick.  

Hugh is young enough to be excused, and besides is if ask who he likes in the club he say, "I like Ed and Steve and Scott and Ira and,...and Everybody."  Let's just say he splits his vote.

I have completed the rebuild of Club Module #3 and have been struggling with finding an opportunity to return it to the club.  We are leaving for a holiday trip and will not be able to participate in the teardown before GATS.  The best I can do is get it to the RailYard on Saturday.  I will be in Round Rock that day, cooking a turkey dinner for my children and grandchildren.  Turkey will go on about 9:00 AM and I will dash over to Cedar Park later in the morning between basting the turkey and other chores.

I can't stay much past noon, so if no one is at the Fun Run early, I will leave the module and see y'all at GATS.  There is a container of props that goes with the module, a few trees and a small shack.  I don't know how you normally handle things like that, but I would like to leave them in someone's capable hands.  Hugh wants to participate in the GATS setup, but we probably cannot make it there Friday evening, so we will plan to arrive early on Saturday.

If we miss you all before the holidays, Hugh, Mary and I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmes and Happy New Year and Happy Anything Else you may celebrate.  Mary and I are quite pleased with the way the club has captivated Hugh's interest.  Thank you all so much.
