Re: Thanks & Ross Switches

Craig,

It has been a pleasure to be in the railyard.  I really enjoy being able to run at leisure without worrying about a teardown or setup.  Thank you very much for arranging this for us.  If this location does get rented and another becomes available at some time in the future I think we would be interested in doing this again.  I hope you realize that your membership entitles you to run on our layout at the various train shows as well.  I can loan you some trains for you and your children to run at the GATS show if you like.

I am in the process of upgrading my RRTrack software for layout planning so I can get an accurate account of what I need for expansion.  I will have that information for you within 14 days.

Folks,

Two things:
(1) Thanks for the honorary membership.  I really appreciate it.  I've enjoyed having you here at The Railyard.  Hopefully we can stretch this out for some time to come.  As I've said to several of you, I started this store so I would have more time (it's my job now!) to build layouts, run trains, and share good times with folks like you.  Thanks again.

(2) I have just received my Ross Custom Switches catalog.  My initial order with them will have to be fairly sizeable.  Therefore, I am looking for input from you.  I am not looking for a commitment from anyone (unless you definitely want me to hold specific pieces for you), I just want to order switches, track, etc., that is relevant to you.  Ira has provided me a list that he may use in the next 6-12 months.  Ed has said that he will get me a list in the next week or so for his home layout.  If anyone else has any suggestions that I should stock up with or pieces that you need, please let me know.  I will also be glad to provide you with prices upon request.

Thanks.
