I think $100 should be fine with the exception of setting a precedent. My thoughts are like this:1. We are staying in Austin.2. We can cut back on the towing fee for this show.3. Will we be able to effectively argue for more at the San Antonio location?4. Definately sign up for the workshops. I think we should have a separate thread on topics for the workshops. We need to have presenters signed up in the Club participation document.

from January - July 2004, which includes shows in Austin (January) and Live
Oak (June). I was going to sign us up with the same info as last year but I
noticed that they have changed their method of payment.
There is no longer a contest category. Instead they ask you for a
compensation amount with a note that their basic compensation is $100.00 for
a club and $50.00 for an individual. I believe they still pay $10.00 per
workshop and in the past we have done a total of 4 workshops at the two day
shows for an additional $40.00.
Should we ask for the basic $100.00 compensation or gamble and ask for more?
I'm guessing they're trying to save money and will go with the low bids.
Any comments? Suggestions?
Ron
