GAT Show Schedule

Sorry about getting this out late. I thought I had sent one out earlier
today but I must have hit the wrong key.

I took the following information from the GAT Show document on the club's
web site. If you haven't tried signing up for the show yet with this new
procedure, give it a shot, even if you're not going.

FRIDAY NIGHT SETUP
Scott will tow the trailer to the Live Oak Civic Center and it looks like he
plans on getting there between 6 and 6:30pm. Ira will be the FAT Controller
for set up and the Civic Center will close at 9:00pm. Those scheduled to
help out with the setup besides Scott and Ira are: Adrian, Ron, Randall,
Ryan, Jim, and Bob.

SATURDAY SCHEDULE
The Civic Center will open at 7:00am for vendors and anyone working on a
layout. The show is open to the public and we'll be running trains from
11am to 5pm. Bob will be FAT Controller from 11-2pm and Adrian will be the
FAT Controller from 2-5pm.

SUNDAY SCHEDULE
I don't have the exact time when the Civic Center will open for vendors and
anyone working on a layout. It should be open by at least 10am and maybe
sooner. We'll have to check on the exact time on Saturday. The show is open
to the public from 11am to 5pm. Ron will be FAT Controller from 11-2pm and
Rick will be FAT Controller from 2-5PM. We will tear down the layout at 5pm
and Randall will tow the trailer back to Austin.

We also plan on having a raffle (donation) both days. If I remember
correctly, Scott has a starter set for the raffle and the tickets/posters
are in the trailer. Let me know if that is not correct.

We are also scheduled to give demos both days in order to earn a little
extra mone for the club. We get paid $10 for each demo. At 12:15 each day
we will give a demo on a Command Control System. It can be either Lionel,
MTH, or a comparison between the two. At 2:15 each day we will give a demo
on how to Tune Up an Engine. It can be simple from oiling and lubricating
areas on the engine, looking for loose wires, checking the brushes, etc. WE
NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR ALL THE DEMOS!!!!!!

Hope to see ya Friday--Ron
