Bob Miller showed me a plug in charger (from MTH, I think) for about $15 at 
the NB train show last weekend.  Apparently the Proto 2 engines have a socket 
on them for easy recharging.

Proto 1 engines do not have a socket but I imagine parts could be gotten from 
Radio Shack.

Bob was just reminding me about what happens when the battery runs down thru 
lack of use...the circuit board gets blown.

I'm just passing this info on.  I'm sure if you wanted one of these chargers, 
Bob could bring them back from Mike's on one of his trips.
