WE have been invited/requested to set up a layout, the 4x8 probably, at the
Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church on some Tues AM for a respite program for people with Alzheimer's disease. They meet
every Tuesday from 9:30 am to 1:30 PM at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church at
7127 Bee Cave Road. I think and the Board agrees that this is
something that we can and should do as part of our program to further the hobby
as well as help with this cause. They will pay us $25 if we want it.
We now need to choose a date. the Board will meet on Jan 15th and could
set a date or we could move quicker if the club members that are available these
hours could come up with a date. Some thing in Jan. or Feb would be
good. When we do it, we can probably leave the layout up until that
evening. I have my Boy Scout Troop that meets on Tues. evenings at the
same church and could show them the layout too.
I have heard from Steve, Ira and Adrian as possible
participants. Let me know if you are interested in doing this and we can
coordinate over email or resolve at the Director's meeting.
