in response to drivers, i am not ancious to tow the club trailer after a
near miss on I.35 southbound . especially without someone riding shotgun
at all times.
adrin was a welcome sight when i drove from the crash site to the san
antonio rest area to rest before continuing on to the live oak. with the
trailer which prevented me from sharp turns to avoid the crashsite, i was
sure that the trailer was going to be hit and spray everything all over
the 3 lanes of pavement. the pickup 15 feet to my left got hit and
deflected the projectile
away from me someway. i had moved to the edge of the paved shoulder and i
did not want to take the trailer on to the grass at 45 mph.
there were several members traveling on the same route about the same
time and on one volunteered to ride shotgun.
i will tell you if i will toe the trailer after i see the shot gun roster
for each way.
i do not want any more solo trips with an overloaded trailer, no trailer
brakes. and no help at a crash site.
