Trailer Storage
For future consideration...
Build a cart that is 2-3 feet wide by 6 plus long and 4-5 feet tall on
casters. With a solid back and sides and doors on the front, the cabinet
could hold (store) all types of loose and/or irregular boxes. This would
make storage more efficient...load inside the show area, secure the doors and
roll out to trailer. It would require several members to get it in the
trailer.
Items stored in the cart would then free up a variety of spaces for various
types on modules in slots and on the sides.
A HOT member just completed a cart/cabinet. It's approximately 60" long and
2' plus feet deep. Built in two sections that are stacked so they can be
transported side by side in a pickup or van. Each section is designed to
hold eight plastic tubs, which hold rolling stock, accessories, short track
sections, etc. On top is another third unattached box designed to hold long
five foot sections or track.
Storage possibilities for TTAT include power, club accessories, legs, skirt,
sky boards and possibly egg crates. Probably the first time HOT will use the
new cart is at Burnet. I'd be happy to show the cart to any interested
parties...it's stored near Burnet and Koenig Lane.
