Re: GATS

A couple of followup comments.

Jon Weinstein came buy on Sat and commented on how much the layout had
improved in appearance and excitement. A comment like that from Jon carries
a lot of credibility.

I still believe there is some power loss (at least on track 1) near the swamp
corner. My trains continually slowed there after coming by Scott's module's.
They seemed to be back up to speed by the oil derrick.

We must add Plexiglas to the corner's. The Reynolds's are the latest to have
a negative experience. Let's not have another train hit the floor.

There isn't anyway to see the track starting with Scott's modules thru the
Swamp and down to Adrian's oil fields. Let's either leave a sky board out or
create some type of a gap so we can see that our trains are running properly
or stalled.

Consider purchasing (used is OK), four tall bar stools (with backs) to place
outside of the layout and the bollards for operators. This allows operators
to better see what is going on with their trains, creates better
opportunities to visit with viewers, and for some of us helps save the back.

The GATS show was weak but we looked great!
