Randall,

These aren't official IDs.  They are just name badges to identify the members of the club.  They
are neither permanent IDs nor event IDs.

The reason we collect them each time is twofold.  First of all, every member doesn't show up
at each event.  We share the name badge holders among the members that are present.
Secondly, we sometimes make up new name badges if we decide on a different design.

I understand you want to keep your name badges and bring them to the events.  However,
at the last event, Ryan kept his name badge and I had to make a new one for him for the SAMRA
show (and use a new name badge holder).  It just works better if one person keeps the name badges
(and holders).  I realize that some people will always forget to return them at the end of a show.
I was just reminding you that I have been keeping them for the last couple of shows.
