Re: SAMRA and New Ideas



My idea was not to lift at all, just missing the 3" under the track.  It
would be too much of a hassle to open while running 4 trains.  the world
would come to a stop.  I like the metal idea and will draw up a plan for
the trusses.  I am thinking of 3 with cross braces.  the ends would have
the facia that we clamp to.  The width would be narrower since only the 4
tracks would be on it, no deck.  I beams would be good if available or
tubes.  We need to keep the track 1 and 2 clearances.
