I wouldn't trust Goo-Gone on electrical work.  I think we can just use some Tuner Cleaner.

Unless someone can prove that the plugs are actually causing a problem, I think it is a waste of
time and money to replace them.  Using an ohm meter on the plugs is not conclusive since we
don't know whether or not there is really a high resistance connection between a real plug and
socket.  The ohm meter probe may not make good contact even though the plug and socket do.

Let's check them out when we assemble the layout.
