Re: Membership
Hi John!
My name is Steve Wise. I'm a member of the Tinplate Trackers of Austin
Texas. Nice to hear from you! Sorry for the late response, but I was out
of town. Thanks for your interest in our O-gauge model railroad club! If
you want to talk to me regarding the club, feel free to call me at
512-444-3310. Also: here is some info about our club:
If you have any questions regarding o-gauge trains, layouts, etc, please
feel free to ask our membership via email: ttat-members@aoot.com. Sending
email to this address will forward your email to all members. I'm CCing the
members on this email, so they know about you.
If you want, I'll add you to our "Friends" of TTAT email list. You'll get
notification of up coming events and when a club newsletter is released (one
is due soon - I know - I'm the editor! :-). Lemme know if you wish me to
add you.
As you found our ttat@aoot.com contact email, I assume you've seen our web
site at http://www.trainweb.org/ttat. There you can find our current events
schedule, electronic copies of the club newsletters, plus pictures from past
events. Check it out if you haven't already!
If you are interested in meeting us and seeing the club modular layout, I
invite you to our next work-day on January 26th. We will be working on the
layout as well as probably running some trains. But many of the members
will be there so you can meet folks. Let me know if you are interested in
this, and I'll get you directions to the Branch Creek Estates clubhouse
where we are setting up the layout. Either email me or call...
Membership is $25 the first year, and $20 each consecutive year thereafter.
We operate our modular layout at various train events throughout the year,
plus we do home layout tours occassionally as well.
Happy Holidays!
Steve.
