Is the wire inside the cable a big enough gauge for the amount of current we need to pull for these trains?

Bob,

The cable I bought is 25' long.  I think that would cover one extra siding module.  (I won't know until I actually
see how far the cable has to extend on the modules.)

Since the cable I got is a standard DB-9 extension cable, if we ever extend the sidings we would just have
to buy another DB-9 M-F cable to go in between the pieces I already have.  If this happens, we could
permanently attach the extension cable to one side of the existing cable.
