Last Week-end and December

I just wanted to thank everyone who attended the Flatonia Czhilispiel and 
Austin Jamboree this past week-end.  From all of the feed back that I have 
received it sounds like everything went pretty smooth with only a few bumps 
along the way.  As far as I know, this is the first time that we have had 
two events on the same week-end.  Its not something I would want us to do 
all of the time but its good to know that we can do it if we want 
to.  GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!

Right now our next event is scheduled to be a work day(s) on January 25 and 
26 at the BCE Club House.  We'll be updating the 'to do'  list within the 
next week and posting it on the club's web site.  That will give everyone a 
chance to view it and decide if there are things that we have forgotten or 
if there are things you want to work on before January 25.  I think Ira has 
already taken some of the yard modules so he can start working on a control 
panel for the yard.

We have nothing scheduled for November and December.  There has been some 
discussions about the club having an informal get together on December 1 or 
8.  This could be a layout tour at someone's house or setting up the 4'x8' 
layout somewhere.  We're just looking for an excuse to meet, run some 
train, have some fun, and not have to work on anything.  If anyone has an 
idea on what we could do or wants to host the event, let us know.  Steve 
will be trying to wrap up the next newsletter this week-end so if we can 
get a date and time worked out for a December event he'll  put all of the 
details in the newsletter.
