Re: module specs

I have paper and e-mail copies of the discussion thread Scott and I started on the corners.  I will put them in my manual as I have time.  They will probably be for the large radius corners we were discussing.  Someone else may want to document the old corners, but I don't plan on it.

I may get started on the new ones this weekend if everything goes as planned. I will use 5/16" plywood on them and will change the draft specs I sent you to reflect that.  I'll see what I can get done by Wednesday.

Hey Tinplaters!

There is an agenda item to discuss the module specification docs.  Here's
some poop on that item that we can chew on:

We currently have at least three incomplete documents on our module
specifications.  I started one, then stopped when I found out that Adrian
and Ed both have nice documents that are almost finished.  I haven't seen
ANY corner module specifications that are written up though.  If anyone else
has started such documentation, OR has hard-copy documents written in the
past, please dig 'em up and whoever gets the task to write these up can have
as much existing lore as possible.

BTW:  We just received a request via our web site email contact address
(ttat@aoot.com) from a club in Nebraska that is interested in doing some
modules for creating a portable layout that can be taken to
malls/events/etc.  They asked for any specifications we might have.  I
hesitate to give them the ones that are in-progress, and will probably point
them at the hirailers.com site which has specs on line for straight and
corner modules.  If anybody has any thoughts on this request, please lemme
know.  I'll CC the club on my response, so that you can respond with any
additional comments directly to them.

Thanx!

Stevo.
