I understand Scott's viewpoint especially about the maintenance.

However, I do not have any engines that I will take out again on a run like 
this.  I do have some plastic 027 cars.  I don't plan to purchase any engines 
for this layout for two reasons.  One I don't want to spend the money and two 
I doubt I'd use them more than twice a year.

For that matter I'd like to see the club (I know we don't have any money now 
and this is a low priority) add a couple of inexpensive action toys to this 
layout.

Steve has volunteered (twice in fact) a steam train.  Maybe there are some 
other items in the back of members closets that can be used here.  

I'm certainly willing to let anyone use my ZW to power the layout if they 
need it.  I'm most concerned about what the young kids can reach and touch.
