Re: Train Show recap

I believe the rewiring is a priority.

So is the re-tracking of some our modules especially one of the corners. I
understand that Jim doesn't want to sell the club his corners. Therefore I
suggest we take Ed up on his offer to build new corners or supply new track
to Jim to fix his corners. We have done nothing but complain about the
corners on recent runs. Any other problem modules may be addressed in a
similar way. I'm not complaining about Jim or any other module owner here,
I'm only trying to suggest a solution to a persistent problem.

Lastly our treasury is thin and the option of significant revenue increases
from shows appears to be slim. Assessments and new members are the only
visible options for increased revenue as I see it. These options need to be
addressed at our annual meeting.

It's interesting to note that just two years ago I was going to suggest
either reducing or dropping our annual dues because of our strong show
revenue. Times sure do change.
