Mr. Blakeman would be interested to know that Division 4 of the Lone Star Region of the National Model Railroad Association has quarterly meetings at the Round Rock Public Library. The next one is scheduled for May 10th at 10:00 AM.

My brother, Kim Blakeman, lives in Round Rock and is
getting into HO model trains. He suffered a massive stroke
in his late 50’s five years ago, and so his communication
skills are impaired, plus his right arm and leg are less
usable than normal, but he does walk without any cane or
assistance.
I’m his sister, live in Houston, and take care of
anything he can not do.
He needs a new hobby, and is excited about model trains.
He will be building a platform that takes up most of a
one-car garage. He designed the bench work after looking at
several magazines and has ordered the parts from Sievers.
I hope to help him achieve what he has envisioned, but I
have a lot of questions and would appreciate a call from a
member.
