I
use the DCC version of these microprocessor
controlled intelligent circuit breakers on
my 2 rail layout. The DCC version operates
flawlessly.
Using
these vastly improves the sensing and trip
time on my layout. Greatly superior to what
I had on my 3 rail layout. Much faster and
more versatile protection than the previous
century's old fashioned heat sensing circuit
breakers.
I
can't vouch for the 3 rail AC version. But,
I will swear by the 2 rail DCC version.
They're
expensive. But, then can it cost $200 or
so to fix and out of warranty engine with a
bad command board.
