Bus Trip to Fredericksburg
We are hosting a bus trip to Fredericksburg, Texas on Thursday, September 19. The trip includes a visit to the National Museum of the Pacific War and time to explore the charming Hill Country town.
Expanded in 2009, the museum is the only institution in the U.S dedicated exclusively to telling the story of the Pacific and Asiatic Theaters in World War II. Located on a six-acre site, the museum includes the George Bush Gallery, Admiral Nimitz Museum, Pacific Combat Zone, Plaza of Presidents, Memorial Courtyard, and Japanese Garden of Peace. Guests will be able to explore the museum at their own pace. Guests can choose to spend their day at the museum or take some time to explore the town of Fredericksburg.
The bus leaves from the Railroad and Heritage Museum at 7 a.m., returning around 7 p.m. The cost is $45 for Museum members and $50 for other guests. Call the Museum today at 254-298-5172 to reserve your seat!
