For those of you who subscribe to or are familiar with O Scale Trains Magazine I am saddened to inform you that Joe G., the publisher of the magazine has passed away.
He was a true believer and committed supporter of O Scale model railroading -- leaning toward the 2 rail side of our hobby-- but -- also very supportive of the 3 rail side.
Bob Stettner and me had the extreme good fortune at the 2012 O Scale National Convention Banquet to get lucky and find seats at a table with Joe, his wife Jeannie and their friends whose names you would recognize if you take the magazine. They treated us like old friends. It was an evening filled with positive energy, fun and lots of model railroading talk. I'll never forget it.
Joe G was the "Right Stuff."
