Re: Pat Neil Very Ill. Collectible Trains Likely To Close

This is very sad news.  Pat and Cheri Neil have been major forces for good in the O guage community -- nationwide -- for decades.  It was Christmas every day of the year at Pat's store.  Goodies galore.  Modern and collectible. And he always greeted you with a big, warm, Texas sized welcoming smile.  It will be a huge loss for the Southwest USA  if his store doesn't survive.  I join Lee with hopes for the best for Pat and his family.

I have some bad news for those of my fellow Tinplate Trackers who deal with Pat Neil and Collectible Trains and Toys (out of the Dallas area). Pat Neil, the proprietor, is very ill. He may or may not survive, but what is likely is that Collectible Trains and Toys is very likely to close within a few months.

Those of us Trackers who have dealt with Pat and have trains on order would do well to resubmit those orders with somebody else. Those of us who do have stuff waiting to be picked up should contact Cheri and Collectible Trains and make arrangements to pick up and pay for their stuff soon.

My prayers for Pat, his wife Cheri, and his family.
