| Greetings to everyone,
As many of you may have now heard, the Lockheed Martin Recreation Association will be changing it's name at the end of 2013 to another entity. It will reorganize and become another association such as a private club. As a result of this, over half of the property has been sold to a developer. This includes the building that the LMRA railroad layout is in,
We have officially been told that we will not be a part of the new association. In addition, the current gyms will be reconfigured some time this fall. This leaves us no place to have a train show this year.
We are currently looking for a home or a new sponsor. At this time club members are considering all options. If we can establish a new club and come up with the funding we would like to move or rebuild another layout. The new club will have no affiliation with Lockheed Martin. If you would wish to join the new club let me know and I will keep you posted as things develop.
Keep us in your prayers as we now are a club with a large layout but no home and no funds. At the moment we have until the end of the year to be out of the current location.
