Hello,
We live in Austin and have my dad's Lionel electric trains from his youth (he was born in 1934). They are working quite well but the Engine has a smoke stack that is not working. My 8 year old son would love to get it working again and I wondered if you could direct me to a reputable repair person/establishment that is either local or a place we could mail the train to.
Thank you in advance for any leads.

Hey Hilary,
You could try Duane Van Orman. He used to do some repair work for Craig Berry when the Collectible Caboose was open. He lives up near Coppers Cove. 512-484-0018.
I've used this guy and was happy with his work: http://timkorepairdepot.com/Home.html
I've also Cc'ed the club membership so if somebody has other ideas, they can pipe in!
Cheers,
Steve.
