TTAT Annual Meeting

A good time was had by all at Scott Smiley's house where we had our annual club meeting last Sunday. 17 members attended with a few bringing guests. 

We started out with a business meeting discussing the progress the club has made in the projects of rewiring the entire layout, changing out the legs the entire layout and the building of a new bigger and better power cart. We also talked about what was next in improving the layout. Most everyone agreed that interior skirting and basic scenery should the next. We also discussed the possibility of attending a show in Houston or Dallas in the future. 

After all those discussions were over we held elections to replace Adrian Elliot whose term on the TTAT Board of Directors expired this year. Candidates were Paul Calmes, David Gold, and Ira Schnieder. The members chose Paul Calmes to serve on the TTAT Board. Congrats Paul!

The meeting then adjourned and we all had fajitas and enjoyed the hospitality of Scott and Cindy Smiley. Once everyone was full of fajitas and yummy deserts that members brought we went upstairs to see the progress done on Scott's home layout. It is coming along nicely I must say; the big trestle is very nice! Scott also showed us the redesigned pass thru module he has been working on as well.
