Re: Train repair

I haven't.  But if you want an authorized Lionel service center, then I'd go with what Lionel recommends...

Steve.

Thanks Steve. I also saw a listing on the Lionel site for a Hobbytown in San Antonio. Has anyone used them. Thanks again

Greetings,

My name is Dwight Edens and I used to be a member of TTAT. I live in Rockport. I have a question that I am sure that someone can answer. I have a couple of Lionel engines that are in need of some repair and was wondering who or where I can take them to be repaired. On is for traction tire replacement and the other is for an engine that has problems going in reverse. Thanks for your help. I enjoy keeping track of your goings on and hope to come and run trains again with you guys some day.

Hey Dwight,

You could try Duane Van Orman.  He used to do some repair work for Craig Berry when the Collectible Caboose was open.  He lives up near Coppers Cove. 512-484-0018.

I've also Cc'ed the club membership so if somebody has other ideas, they can pipe in!

Cheers,

Steve.
