Another
quick question for you. I dug an old Lionel set out of my
grandmothers attic and I’d like to get it working before
Christmas (the train is a Texas Special 211). I have no
background with trains, although I am somewhat handy. What
resources do we have in Austin that I might be able to lean
on to get some basic help on getting an old set up and
running? I’ve heard of King’s Hobbys but that is about it.
Can you help with some ideas at all?

Hey John,
Yes, our club is setup downtown and running trains on the
weekends through mid Jan. Here is a flyer describing the
event. Come see (and run) some trains!
