Re: Train layout

Yes, for those of you that don't know it, YNN (News 8) came in yesterday and did an interview with Rick, Scott, and a Visitor.  The interview is running for 24 hours and you can see it about every hour.  I got home at about 8:00 and watched News 8 and the first time it ran was about 11:00 pm so should get  some good prime time out of it.  If it does like it did last year, we should be very busy down at the layout.  This was a great fund raiser last year and is showing some promise for this year as well.  Visitors are starting to find out we are there and traffic is picking up.  With the Chuy's Children Giving To Children Parade we got several visitors yesterday.  The Childrens Museum is also telling their visitors that we are there.  We have placed flyers in several restaurants and local business venues in the area.   Hopefully this will bring in as many as last year.  We are harder to see where we are so if you would, tell your friends, get the word out.  Then come down, run some trains and have some fun.

Do I read your website correct (by looking at the calendars, etc) that you are setting up the event again this year and that you have moved to 117 Lavaca from 201 W. 2nd Street?  My parents are coming into town and want to take my son to see the trains so we need to confirm for today.  Can someone please call me to advise?
